  • Superior Matt and Shine Embossing
    Pin badges & lapel pins: superior matt and shine embossing

    Method: The background is sandblasted to a fine matt finish and the raised motifs or texts are polished. A particularly superior look is achieved due to the contrast between the matt and shiny surfaces. The finish of the product surfaces is gold, silver or copper-coloured or they are finished with an antique patina.

    Method: Gold, silver, copper or black nickel metal studs separate the areas lined with coloured fire enamel. The surface is ground level and polished.

    Colour Lined Embossing

    Method: As with real fire enamel, this finish is produced using metal studs. Another variation which is available is to apply a gold, silver or copper-coloured metal to the surface and line the deeply embossed motif with enamel paint.

    Method: With colour lining (enamel paint) and clear cold enamelling (epoxide resin). Gold, silver, copper or black nickel metal studs separate the coloured areas lined with enamel paint.

    Motifs: Graphic 2D realisation of a logo or lettering. This method equates to embossing with colour lining which is further enhanced by adding a coating of clear cold enamelling (epoxide resin).

    Relief Embossing

    Method: Individual shapes and motifs in embossed metal in brass, copper or stainless steel. The finish (matt or shiny) of the product surfaces is completely gold, silver or copper-coloured or they are finished with an antique patina.

    Motifs: Representation of a product, figure or visual motif.

    Full or Half Relief Casting
    Pin badges & lapel pins: full or half relief casting

    Method: Full relief casting in brass, zinc or precious metals. Surface finish: gold, silver or copper-coloured available, matt or polished to a shine, or alternatively patinated to an antique finish.

    Motifs: Three-dimensional reproduction of a product or figure in miniature.

    Method: Pin badges are cut from steel, brass or aluminium by contour punching. In screen-printing, the full-tone colours are defined by the Pantone, RAL and HKS colour systems. Reproduced true to the detail and colour without metal studs. The appearance of the lapel badges is enhanced by a clear cold enamel coating.

    Motifs: Graphic motifs (surfaces, shapes, text) with the full tone colours separated.

    Method: Pin badges are cut from steel, brass or aluminium by contour punching. The offset printing process reproduces motifs with colour gradients or multicoloured motifs. Reproduced true to the detail and colour without metal studs. The appearance of the lapel badges is enhanced by a clear cold enamel coating.

    Motifs: Complex originals (i.e. halftone motifs, photo originals and gradients) in many colours 

    Digital Printing with a Clear Enamel Coating for Short-Term Delivery

    Method: Badges with posts on the reverse, available in four standard formats. Round: Ø 15 mm and Ø 20 mm, square: 15 mm, rectangular: 25 x 10 mm. Digital 4C print according to Euroscale. Reproduced true to the detail and colour without metal studs. The appearance of the badges is enhanced by a clear cold enamel coating.

    Motifs: Graphic motifs (surfaces, shapes, text) with the full tone colours separated and complex originals such as photos and illustrations or motifs in many colours.

    Method: The pin badges and lapel pins are manufactured in gold or silver according to customer requirements and in some cases are furnished with precious stones by our setters.

    Motifs: Graphic 2D realisation of a logo or lettering or the representation of a product, figure or visual motif as a full or half relief miniature.

    Laser Engraving on Veneering
    Wooden pin badges & lapel pins: laser engraving

    Materials: Wooden pin badges with laser engravings on alder, beech, oak, cherry or walnut veneer. Material thickness: 2 mm or 4 mm. With pin post fastener in silver coloured metal on the reverse. Available in 4 standard formats: round Ø 15 mm and Ø 20 mm; square 15 x 15 mm; rectangular 25 x 10 mm.

    Motifs: Logos, text elements and other 2D motifs in b/w, without gradients.

    Method: We produce small editions or exclusive one-offs precisely and with great attention to detail using our lasers. Engravings of names, dates and other texts can be applied immediately or subsequently to your pins or badges.
